Is there some place I can stay outside of Quebec City that will take me on a tour downtown? |
Travel Info I want to see Old Quebec but I don't want to stay in the downtown area. Travel Tips Steve's link to the Tours is an excellent one. The company has provided bus tours of the city and the surrounding region for many years. As for hotels, there are plenty outside the walled city that will offer you a cheaper rate. Here are a few I think could work for you. If I remember properly, the tour service should be able to pick you up at your hotel for the tour (unless they've changed their policy) you just have to ask them when you make a reservation for a tour. http://www.hotelsjaro.com/hotelquebec/in... Hotel Qu茅bec, close to the largest shopping centre in Eastern Canada http://www.clarionquebec.com/anglais/02_... Hotel Clarion Quebec, very quiet, easy to find For more general searches, look at the city's touristic website. You'll be able to search their database for a place to stay that will fit your needs. http://www.quebecregion.com/e/hotels.asp... Source(s): I live in Quebec City Other Travel Tips There are plenty of hotels, motels, and bed&breakfast places both inside and around the Quebec City area. Some of the hotels may offer a shuttle service to get you downtown, and will offer you maps or local travel brochures to help you find your way around. If you are looking for an organized tour, you can try the link I provided below, but you may need to be a larger group to make it affordable. You can contact them using the form on their website. http://www.toursvieuxquebec.com/index.ht... |
