Yes, Quebec separation would be good. They can then quite blaming all of their problems on other and the rest of Canada can quite sending them all of our tax money and federal spending. Quebec separatists make me laugh though Quebec has the right to self determination but groups within Quebec do not, as Quebec is indivisible. I don't think it would be good for either Canada or Qu茅bec. Qu茅bec gets a ton of money from the federal Government, plus - who's going to play net? Come on - we need your goalies!!! At least stay till 2010 or please leave Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo & Marc-Andr茅 Fleury behind.

Separation would be too costly. As it is almost all large companies have moved their headquarters to Toronto just in case this happens. It's only a matter of time before all industries move away. Countless industries have closed since this debate has started in 1980's.
The Federal government provides alot of money for social programs including Medicare. What would Qu茅bec do without this cash? Tax it's citizens, again and again? No thanks!

The independant myth of vive le quebec libre came from Charles De Gaul ! some were taken by this, yet, the racists/or call them seperatistes in Quebec are still bringing Montreal's economy down with this seperation issue!
