Any recommendations for a rural getaway in Quebec? |
Travel Info We are planning to go to Quebec for two weeks this June. Our daughter will be 18-months old. We know that we want to stay in Quebec City for a few days, but have no idea where we might go a bit more out in nature (like a lake inn). Travel Tips There are hundreds of wonderful places where you can stay while in Quebec City. The wonderful thing is you can see both the city and nature, as they're quite close to one another. I'd recommend you visit the link below, it will provide you with all the info you might need about Quebec City's nature opportunities. Source(s): http://www.sepaq.com/index-en.html... Other Travel Tips Check out this site. The Duvetnor company owns islands in the St. Lawrence River where you can spend a blissful day or two in absolute tranquility. You can even spend the night in a lighthouse (it was an incredible experience!): http://www.duvetnor.com/ There are plenty of lovely auberges and lakes in the Eastern Townships, about 90 minutes southwest of Quebec City. Anywhere around North Hatley or Ayer's Cliff would be nice. Maybe Auberge Hatley |
