How to get from Montreal to Gatineau?

I'm planning to move to Gatienau. What's the best way to get there from Montreal? I know about french, it's a must, but what about job opportunities and places to live( calm down areas)? I'm very grateful of any answer!

Gatineau has joined Hull and Aylmer to become a larger city.

I know that the Aylmer part is nice and quiet (we have friends who live there) They are both english also and i found visiting Aylmer seemed to be the most welcoming of the english speakers!

It isn't far from the bridge to ottawa either.
What a stupid, obviously phoney Question! If you are already planning to move there you must know how to get there!
