Travel Info Will be in Quebec City. Any good shopping outlets? Travel Tips There aren't many outlets per se in Quebec City. The best place to shop is at Place Laurier http://www.laurierquebec.com/pages/en/in... It is the largest shopping centre in Eastern Canada. The second best is Galeries de la Capitale http://www.galeriesdelacapitale.com/home... I personally like that one less, it has a game park for kids with a carousel and such, and it is noisier. Next to Place Laurier are too smaller shopping centres also, and most people think of all three as one giant entity. The other too are Place Ste-Foy and Place de la Cit茅 (neither of which have an English website). Source(s): Happy shopping! Other Travel Tips Nellierslmm beat me to the answer. I also like Place Laurier & its two neighbours in Sainte-Foy, at 2700 - 2452 Boul. Laurier, about 7 km. west of Quebec's old town. Quebec's Les Galeries de la Capitale at 5401 Boul.des Galeries (7 km NW of the old town) has 280 stores plus cinema, IMAX & Recreatecque. There is also Place Fleur-de-Lys at 552 Boul. Wilfrid-Hamel (3.5 km NW of the old town), with some 200 stores, but I haven't been there. Of course, there are shops galore in the old town, upper and lower. |
