Now that Steven Harper's P.M does Quebec still want to seperate from Canada?

Well I would imagine people still have their same opinions about it. I believe it was 49% Yes 51% No. Steven Harper has nothing to do with it.. well ok yes he does.. but what I mean is it has to be voted to seperate.. and thats already been done.

People, including alot of people in Quebec don't realize how big of effect seperating would have. Think of what would happen.. I by any means don't give a damn if they do but they'd have to create their own currency.. and it would be absolutley worthless... Think of how many government buildings are in Quebec... The province would have to buy every single one from the Government of Canada... and I'm pretty sure they can't afford to do that. The second they seperated they'd be horribly in debt like every country is, but worse. They'd fall flat on their faces and we'd have to pick them right back up and clean up the mess they made.

But it's not only effecting them... Canada would not be considered as bilingual as we are now. Majority of Canada's french population is Quebec (obsviously).
