Tour the old city, restaurants and clubs are amazing, take a jaunt out of town along the St Lawerence to Parc Mt St Anne and the adjacent areas, the scenery is breathtaking. Others learning french! Visit the Citadel fort, or tour the fortifications on the Plains of Abraham. Inside the city proper, you can see some interesting historical features, like the Citadel, which was actually built by the English after the conquest of Quebec by James Wolfe in 1759. Then there is the Lower Town, where the first settlement was founded by Champlain in 1608. But, if you can rent a car, I'd highly recommend driving to Montmorency Falls, then crossing the bridge over to Ile d'Orleans, a quaint, farming community overlooking the St. Lawrence River, just at the point it widens to become an estuary.
