Bus Travel from Canada to the USA.?

I'm having some trouble finding the answer to my question so I thought I'd ask it here. I'm visiting Quebec, Canada and its coming time for me to leave soon. I want to leave by bus, but I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to get from Quebec, Quebec, to Montreal, Quebec in order to take the bus from there to Buffalo. I'd appreciate any help that can be offered...A taxi from here to Montreal doesn't work because it would be outrageously expensive (its a 3 hour drive).

Use Greyhound... they operate in canada... You might have some trouble purchasing a ticket in america for a canadian ride. so what i would do, is buy a ticket in canada for a destination close to the border... then take a shuttle bus accross the border and catch a taxi or have someone pick you up...

Other Travel Tips
You can take the VIA rail train from Quebec to Montreal for $75 Canadian.
Just visit the Greyhound site ~ I believe you can purchase a ticket straight from Quebec to Buffalo. Just type in your info into the menu boxes (remember the abbreviation of the province of Quebec is "PQ" or "QC").

Or as someone already suggested, you can try taking Via rail for a change of scenery and something a lot better than a stinky old bus;-) The train route doesn't go to Buffalo from Montreal, but you could continue on to Toronto and switch to an Amtrak train to Buffalo there. From Quebec City to Toronto it's 181 CDN dollars, and I believe an Amtrak train from Toronto to Buffalo is about 40 dollars.

From the central bus station in Montreal (Berry Metro), there are many departures to Quebec City by Bus: Look for Orleans Express, La Quebecoise, and Intercar. They have regular schedule and should not be too expensive.
