What's a good/great restaurant in Montreal, Canada that is also kid friendly??

Travel Info
I am going to Montreal for the first time and I have 2 young children. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant that is kid friendly and has a kid menu?

Travel Tips
Kids will love the Orange Julep, it's this giant (like 30-ft tall) orange.
It's an old-fashioned drive-in, you eat (hamburgers and stuff) in the car--which may or may not be ideal. It's up on Decarie near Jean-Talon.

If you're not going by car, it's a bit out of the way and I think you have to cross the highway (on an overpass but not kid-friendly) to get there from the Metro.

(The most kid-friendly places, like Jack Astors as someone mentioned, do tend to be in the suburbs and much less accessible without a car.)

Schwarz's (which is on St-Laurent, not Parc as someone said above) is good smoked meat but they kind of pack everyone together at little tables, which may not be ideal for very little kids. Bens is not as good, but it's huge and kid-friendly.

The Eaton Centre has a fairly decent food court in the basement if you'd be willing to consider that route. And most of the restaurants in Chinatown like kids, though I don't know any names off-hand. Source(s): I'm from Montreal (don't live there now), and I have kids and hate to cook, so...

ALTO's can i take your order?
St. Huberts. It's a chain all over quebec. Love the quarter chicken. Plenty of kids selection.
It dependsif you want "regular" (i.e. american) or ethnic food. For regular food, good to Mike's, St-Hubert's, La cage au sports chain restaurants. For ethnic mediteranean, try Arahova (a few locations), East Side Mario's, Paccini or Ouzerie on St-Denis. For montreal food, try Dunn's on St-Cat's, Ben's on Maisoneuve or Schwartz on Parc. A great place is Le Dragon Rouge on Lajeunesse near Cremazie metro; it's a medieval inn. Bon app茅tit!
I lived there for 23 yrs
