Is quebec french owned or british owned? |
Travel Info i know that the rest is owned by britain, but what about quebec? is it seperate? Travel Tips Quebec is owned by Canada. Not by Britain. Not by France. One could equally argue it is owned by Quebec, though part of Canada. Quebec was part of the French North American Empire until the French and Indian War, when it became part of British Canada. Those in Quebec who favor separation from Canada favor independence, not annexation by France. Others The province and the city, for whatever their cultural questions, belong entirely to the nation of Canada now, period. it isnt owned. it is a province just like ontario or alberta.there just very stubbon QUEBEC IS FRENCH ,& WANT'S TO STAY THAT WAY TO BE DIFFERANT THEN AMERICAN'S. IT'S AN HUMAIN THING TO BE DIFFERENT.BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT IT'S NOT ONLY QUEBEC THAT'S FRENCH,BUT I'LL LET YOU FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF. You may be confused because the Queen of the UK is also Queen of Canada - including Quebec. But Canada has been independent since 1867, gained full control over its defence and foeign policy in 1931, and won control over amending its own constitution in 1982. If Quebec wasn't part of Canada you could believe it was owned by France. It's all part of the same Monarchy. Canada is owned by itself!!!!It's all Canada!!! |
