How long will it take to go through the border crossing into Canada on the way to Montreal? |
Travel Info I am going to visit a friend in Montreal on Friday. I will be leaving from Albany NY and expect to get to the border ( I-87 to Autoroute 15) around 4pm or 5pm. How long a wait should I expect at the border? Thanks. Travel Tips i've gotten through in less than in half an hour lots of times, although i have friends that took 5 hours to get across! Others Probably 10 minutes, unless you are from a middle eastern country, then a few hours. guessing I took this border crossing into Canada in '97 while on the Greyhound. For all the passengers - maybe 30 of us - it took no more than a half hour. This was of course before 911. I used this border x'ng in August. It wasn't too congested with traffic. My guess is a half hour or less. Have a good trip 'n visit in Montreal. Salute. Bon Voyage. between 10 -30 mins |
