Travel Tips
Day 1 : Ottawa

Ready to hit "la belle province"? First, you should relax in a ch芒teau typical of the belle province! So the nearest to Ottawa is the Ch芒teau Montebello (http://www.fairmont.com/montebello/).... It is a well kept secret. Royalties, specially Princess Diana, often went to officially visit Ottawa and Ontario, but they always took pleasant vacations in Qu茅bec, in this castle built with tree logs by lumberjacks in the 19th century!

So over there, you can mingle with royalties and famous VIPs including politicians with their mistresses (it is a hide out from their wifes in Ontario!). Of course, English is spoken, but French is "de rigueur"!

At le ch芒teau Montebello, you will start to enjoy the heavenly cuisine of Qu茅bec, after suffering fish and chips from typical English speaking Canadians for 4 weeks! And the wines, and the beautiful people!

Day 2: Montr茅al, la magnifique !

Montr茅al is the cultural capital of Canada. It is one of the oldest city in America built by Europeans. So in Montr茅al, you can visit the old quarter with houses dated back to the French empire, cobberstone streets, the old March茅 Bonsecours (one of the oldest stock exchange and live market in America when Newyorkers were still eating beavers!), the Notre Dame church as beautiful as the one in Paris, the oldest universities in America, the 150-year opera, some small castles, the most beautiful art street of Canada, Sherbrooke street, the most lively street in Canada, Ste Catherine, so on...

Then the food, sorry, cuisine of Montr茅al! Forget your diet - here, you have to taste the French cuisine and in the middle of the city, right downtown, the Mont Royal park, the most beloved and romantic park of Canada, overlooking the whole city. And you can stroll down numerous streets, sitting on these parisian type caf茅-terrasses to sip wines and watch the crowds.

And don't forget the fashion. Montr茅al is the fur capital of Canada. No, they don't kill animals. Here they just make fur coats and fashionable dresses and clothes too.

If you want to experience the life of a former French aristocrat, try this castle : http://www.manoirrouvillecampbell.com/.... Or if you wish a more rustic one, try this : http://www.sacacomie.com/fr/accueil/....

This is only 2 days but no doubt you can stretch it out to more.
