Travel Tips
On September 13, the British troops of James Wolfe defeat the French troops of Montcalm in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham near Quebec City.

However, it was more complicated than merely Quebec City being captured. It was all part of what was known as the French and Indian War between Great Britain and France for control of the North American colonies and it was part of the Seven Years' War. It was part of the battle for New France - Quebec.
