Travel Info Also, was the character, S茅raphin, based on a real person, or completely fictional? I recently watched some old episodes of the series. I find it interesting, although my French is not too strong, so I don't always understand everything that happens! Travel Tips The series was set in Sainte-Ad猫le Village, in the Laurentides region (North of Montreal) and was written by Claude-Henri Grignon, inspired by his own novel "Un homme et son p茅ch茅".
