It would be easier to pick up French there than in Montreal because you'd have to put your brain on the "French Channel" to be able to get through the day. Quebec City sounds like a good idea - if you get bored - you can jump a liner for Europe. The most beautiful girl I've ever met lives there. She makes Quebec the most gorgeous town in North America.
