Planning trip to Brazil, need some help!? |
Travel Info Hi there, I am planning a trip to Brazil next year and I am wondering if someone can help me learn Portuguese? And possibly any suggestions in regards to the best time to go, places to stay, etc? Thanks so much! Travel Tips I recommend some places - Porto Seguro, Jericoacoara, Fortaleza, Bonito and Fernando de Noronha (the last two are the most beautiful). There are a lot of hotels and places you can stay, and if you learn some basic portuguese lines (I can help you with that) you will be fine. Most of us speak some pourly english, at least in hotels. December, January is summer and July here is winter. On the summer beaches are more crowded. Take your chances. Since i already knew Spanish it was just a shortcut to learn Portuguese, then i moved to Brasil, although i麓m still in the learning stages, and since i麓m pretty familiar with the Bible, i bought a Brazilian version and read a great portion of it, so that has also helped, then because i married a Brazilian it has helped me the most, so in my case, i have no excuse to learn. experience |
