I want to rent a place near Copacabana or Ipanema, Brazil. Rio De Janeiro. Help me!? |
Travel Info Hi, I am moving to Brazil and want to be near Copacabana and Ipanema to be close to the nightlife, the beach, and the girls. I am moving with a friend of mine and want to rent a place that we wont be ashamed to bring girls back to. :) we have about 1000 a month to spend on rent. Does anyone know the best way to find an apartment that is somewhat nice, with internet, and around this price? Is it even possible to find something decent at this price? Please help me. Thank you! Travel Tips Hi : Are we talking about reals or US dollars? For $1000.00 you can find something decent . I would get there first , and then find something. Craiglists is only good to find places for holiday stays. You should have no problem in finding something. Remember that the middle class earn about 1500 reals ($750) a month. I would move to Leme , next to Copacabana , cheaper and safer. Consider also Botofogo , larger places for cheaper prices, there you would half way between , Copa and Lapa , where Rio's night scene is. Once in Rio go to a real estate agent or buy a local news paper like O Globo Others try craigslist |
