Is it dangerours at night around Hotel Bandeirantes in Rua Barata Ribeiro-Copacabana?

I'll be staying in that hotel and I want to know if it is located in a safe neighborhood.
Anything interesting to visit aroun that hotel? what about nightlife?

Copacaba is famous. Lots of tourist. Lots of Barzinhos and Danceteria. Barata Ribeiro is about 2 blocks from the beach. Anywhere in Rio at night is uncertain. Just make sure u r not alone. Would u walk in some street of LA or NY by yourself at night? Same thing. Dress naturaly, not like a g ringo. Enjoy ur time.
