Russia, I can't see how this is a question you are just telling us about you thinking Russia is the best, aren't you.
A Russian engineer from named Mikhail Kalashnikov came up with the design for the AK-47.

The commies gave Kalashnikov's design to other communist countries as a "gift to communism."

It was invented by Mikhail Kalashnikov, Russia, city Izhevsk. It's my hometown! He is alive, more than 80 years old, and even is still working at the factory.
