Drinking Age Limit in Russia? |
Travel Info I'm traveling to Russia this year, and I was wondering about the drinking age? I know Europe is a lot more lax about it than the US, so I was hoping Russia is too. Let me know! Maybe if u live in a small vilage and you buy it at a small corner store, then maybe the store owner wont care, but still depends on the store owner or cashier. Other Travel Tips Last time I visited Russia there was no legal minimum age for drinking. It is left to the parents to decide like it should be. The drinking age for vodka and other 'hard' stuff is 21 year. Also, it is VERY unlikely to have problems because you're underage - in the worst case they will just not serve you the drink. There are no legal limitations on beer and other 'light' stuff (soft drinks etc.). it's 21 just like anywhere else There is no age you must be to consume alcohol, but you must be 18 years old to purchase it.
