Travel Info i have a friend that is comeing to the usa coustoumes want her to show that she has 2000.00 dollers to stay in the usa for 3 mounths Travel Tips it is not true. Russian customs do not ask you to show them any money. The US customs do ask you how much money you bring with you (but you do not have to show it). They want to know how a person is going to support herself while in the country (especially if she comes on a tourist visa that does not allow her to work in the US). I have been in this situation. I have been to the US on a visitor's visa. Others The reason for this is that customs wants to have proof that she has the means to support herself while she is here. |
