Do the coustomes ask to see money when flying from russia to the usa? |
Travel Info my girl friend said the travel agency is telling her she must show 2000.00 dollers to the coustomes before she comes to the usa is this true are not Travel Tips Please don't send her the money...this is a scam Take a random line from an email she sent you and put quotes around it. then do a search on yahoo ... you will find several others got the same letters Here's an example... search this line on Yahoo: "The computer in service of acquaintances found to me Some structures of people which coincide with my inquiry." Pretend to send money etc. Other Travel Tips I lived in Russia for 7 years (and was born in the US and now live in the US) and never, ever had to do anything like that. Contact the US customs department and ask about this. Usually we just had to go through customs, show our passports and get our bags checked out thoroughly and whatnot. absolutely untrue. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why keep asking the same question over and over again!!!!!!! We've all told you already our opinions, and our personal examples!!! I've never heard anything about it, why would our customs needs her to show that? what's the point as long as american embassy gave her a visa already?
