Cost of living in Russia?

I have some friends there aswell, but what would it cost per month to live there, let's say St. Petersburg or Moscow - or even some place that is nice.

What I am after is the cost of living there like rent for an appartment, price of a cheap car, price for a nice meal at a restaurant, price for movies etc.

Travel Tips

Since I live in Izhevsk, I'll give you our local prices

Rent a small apartment ~$200/month,
buy a normal car ~$10000 (really cheap car may cost e.g. $60, but it's nothing more than a rolling rusty bucket, full of holes),
food ~$150/month,
gasoline ~$7/100 km,
movie (in a cinema) ~$4,
meal in a restaurant (unaffordable for me) ~$25,
ski pass for one day ~$30.

Don't get seduced by low prices, additionally there are some important disadvantages like:
poor roads condition,
lots of mud, due to ever digging heating systems operators,
lots of litter, due to low culture level of most of population,
etc...

In Moscow it's mainly the same, except much higher apartment cost and cleaner streets.
