Do you know any ancient ruins in russia? |
Travel Info I know of ancient fortress and city of Derbent. I'm wondering if there any other ancient ruins that interesting to visit in Russia? Travel Tips there are ancient ruins in my town - now my town calls Anapa (it's a small resort town on the Black sea), and in ancient times it was called Gorgippiya, and we have that old town as ruins in open air museum!! TANAIS!!!THERE IS MY DACHA(ORCHESTRA)...ITS ANCIENT CITY OF GREEKS,third slavery trade city...it was big sea port there......from 2000 dc there is good musium,before was better,because i can walk there and collected some goods,there ruins...good ruins........Tanais situated in the bank of the river DON(Before 1.000 dc was called Tanais too),Azov sea,Rostov region,Russia,Europe,Planet Earth. you can visit Kremlin- not yet ruins but I wish it will be one day I do not know about the ruins, but try visiting the oldest city in Russia - Velikiy Novgorod.
