Are there any theme parks in Russia? |
Travel Info I'm talking rollercoasters, etc. - I currently live in Kursk, so any near here would be great. Travel Tips There are some in Moscow and I think in St. Petersburg, but not sure about that one. I don鈥檛 think that there would be any around Kursk, they are expensive to build and I don鈥檛 see how the company building it in that area would recover their investment fast enough. So to answer your question my guess would be No. but there is something else called Lunapark. It鈥檚 like a traveling theme park that comes around most cities in the summer for three month. They have rollercoasters, go-carts and various other attractions. It is not exactly Disney Land or Six Flags but it鈥檚 fun nonetheless. I remember waiting the whole year for them to arrive. Ask around locally if Lunapark still comes in the area and when. Other than that your next best option is to go to Moscov, Kiev (has a small theme park with a few rollercoasters) or EU. Others i don't think so, we don't have any of those Disneylands or Port Aventura like parks, those "rollercoasters" that can be are dangerous to ride, and a lot of accidents happen on them, cause they are not taking care of due to money thing. But we do have a lot of waterparks, on the south there are safari park.. good luck russian me of course ... all countries have their own theme parks ... |
