In Russian, how do you say "I have big feet"? |
Travel Info I'm a bit confused about how to say this phrase without confusing it with "I have big legs". I have heard that the Russian word for 'legs' (薪芯谐懈) is the same for 'feet'. If I said "斜芯谢褜褕懈械 薪芯谐懈" is it possible people might think I'm referring to my legs? Perhaps it's not possible to specifiy 'feet' in Russian? Thanks for your help! Tracy. Travel Tips acctually feet and legs is the same in russian. It just if you talk about shoe size (i have big feet) then you say say it like - 褍 屑械薪褟 斜芯谢褜褕芯泄 褉邪蟹屑械褉 薪芯谐懈 - U menya bol'shoy razmer nogi. (i have a big feet or i have a big shoe size would be the exact translation for that) i have a long legs - U menya dlinnie nogi - 校 屑械薪褟 写谢懈薪薪褘械 薪芯谐懈 hope that what you've wanted to hear good luck Source(s): russian me Other Travel Tips Spaseeba Yulia for your great answer! Also thanks to wschmerz as your answer was helpful too. Tracy. Se bi da The word is "褋褌褍锌薪褟" ([stupnja]) or (less used as being more a medical term) "褋褌芯锌邪". Actually, "褋褌褍锌薪褟"/"褋褌芯锌邪" are not all the foot, but just its lower part (from heel to toes), but it will be ok in your case as "褍 屑械薪褟 斜芯谢褜褕懈械 褋褌褍锌薪懈" (or "褍 屑械薪褟 斜芯谢褜褕懈械 褋褌芯锌褜褨") means also that you have big feet. :) U menya bolshie lapy(lasty)....nogy Bigfoota...:-)... |
