Travel Info Do I still need an itinerary and an IZVESHCHEIE(invitation) in order to visit Russia? Travel Tips Im not sure how the situation is for US citizens but as citizens of the European Union you still need an invitation to get a visa for Russia. But nonetheless it is quite easy to get such an invitation at a russian travel agency when applying for the visa. This will be handled automatically by them then. You do not need even a proof of a hotel stay (maybe because you have friends in Russia at whom you can stay). Others I do not think you need an itinerary, but you do have to list the cities you plan to visit. And you always need a PRIGLASHENIE (invitation) to get a Russian visa. The word you used IZVESHCHENIE means not the invitation but a notice. I am a Russian and a professional translator Yes,you need land russians need too for tripping to US http://www.nemtyrev.narod.ru |
