Travel Tips ok let's start with 1990's. 91 is when communism was over and the transition to democracy began. private property just started to develop as well as private companies from ground 0. the ruble value changed dramatically. people lost everything in savings because it was worth nothing any more. for the first couple years there was anarchy: violent criminal wars etc. speaking of 2000 well Putin has been a president since then, supposedly he's a strong leader. to name a few issues it's drastic difference between living conditions of very low income class and very rich people. middle class almost doesn't exist. Others better question.....Name something that is NOT a problem in current day Russia. |
