Moscow in October? Tell me all you know please.? |
Travel Info Hi I am planning Moscow for my birthday in Oct. Just me and hubby. Tell me weather and things I cant miss. best place to stay. I want to see Red Sq, and Kremlin obviously, any advice? Thanks. Travel Tips Hi! We were in Moscow for three nights towards the end of October last year. The weather was quite changeable indeed. It was 3潞C with very little snow on the day we arrived and the next day it rose to 11潞C. You can get a lot of info on the website called www.waytorussia.net about practicalities. One more thing, I highly recommend you to see St Petersburg if you have the chance. We were there for five nights. It is a fabulous city... Others you must like it cold ... red fox are you there over? begining October wouldn't be too bad.. but November & december.. WInter in Russia... Nepolean made that mistake and Hitler followed him. much the same as moscow in september LOL http://www.tripadvisor.com/showforum-g29... October should not be too bad. But I would recommend taking extra pair of warm socks and a hat. I roamed Moscow in November few years back hat-less and caught a heavy cold. You can purchase Time Out guide to Moscow, it will list the places you can't miss and should give you some tips on dining. I can't give solid advise on hotels, since I always stay with relatives, but Hilton and Radisson should be pretty good options. |
