Cheapest way to travel to st petersburg russia? |
Travel Info diy or package what hotels to stay at cheapest flights what time of year is best to visit Travel Tips I'm doing almost this from Newcastle this summer, except I'm going to Riga and Moscow first. I am getting a train to London (拢11.50), flying to Tallinn (拢30), Bus to St Petersburg - trains between the two cities have been stopped because they were under used (拢8) I am staying in the St Petersburg Travellers Hostel which is on sadovaya street just off Nevskiy Prospekt. Prices are reasonable for St Petersburg. prices vary depending on when you are going so best check the link below. I think either winter when the place is frozen would be cool ;-) or during the white nights when the sun never sets and the place partys (this is also most expensive though) by the way this is now so too late for this year. I did my 2 weeks away very cheap - a package holiday the same (admittedly using better accommodation) was 3 times the price. Alternatively fly to riga then by train to moscow, on to st petersburg and then to tallinn and home. A further option is flying to helsinki and getting a ferry to Tallinn.
