Which city is better for holiday in Russia; St Petersburg or Moscow? |
Travel Info My brother have 3days for his holiday and want to see Russia. he can just go one of them. He is 27? what is ur advice and why? Travel Tips i totally agree with tovarish. St Petersburg is a city built by a czar who loved europe and wanted to recreate a city like those he visited while in europe. Extremely friendly educated people and its alot smaller then moscow so you would be able to see alot more in 3 days. Moscow. is the face of russia has all the famous sites, etc. very busy big city life tons of shopping great metro. but too much too see in just 3 days I recommend St. Petersburg because its a cool experience. European feel with a russian undercurrent Others Moscow for sure! Plenty of hystorical monuments (like in St. Petersburg), but also cool places of fun, atractions, bars, discos. It is a very large city... with plenty places to visit & enjoy. You can never be bored there. I would visit St peterberg. Moscow is just a city My suggestion is absolutely St. Petersburg, a historical city with a lots to see. There are nightclubs too, if your brother likes that. Moscow is a just a modern and large city among other modern cities. I'm a Muscovite, but I would suggest visiting St Petersburg instead, simply because I find the part presented to tourists to be significantly more beautiful there. The centre of the city isn't half as annoying as that of Moscow. On the contrary, it seems rather tranquil and refreshing. St Petersburg also has a more defined, memorable atmosphere than Moscow. And it's connected with a more pleasant period of the Russian history. Moscow, for sure! So Much to do, and lots of fun festivals! Have fun in my home country, man I miss it. Lived there for 14 years! |
