I think Petropavlosvk-Kamchastky, which is located on Kamchatka peninisula, is different from this city. Looks nice from the pictures, interestingly that "The house of trade" these days is pretty much the same structure in every city. Remind me of "S lyokgim parom" comedy...different cities, same streets, same apartment blocks, same keys.

Ethnic Kazakhs are not Europeans, in a sense that ethnically they are closer to asians. People you see on these pictures are mostly Russians, for there were plenty of movement in Soviet Times and a lot of Russians settled in Kazakhstan, as well as other Muslim republica of the USSR.
