How would you tell a lady, "How're you doing? I'm .... You are extremely beautiful." in Russian?

Travel Info
I'm fascinated by Russian language and how everyone of its descent is naturally gorgeous. So I wanted to know how to express that in a way that would most show my appreciation. :)

Travel Tips
How are you doing? - Kak oo tebya dela? -or simply- Kak ty?
I'm fine - Oo menya vsyo khorosho.
You are extremely beautiful - Ty ochen' krasivaya -or- Ty potryasausche krasiva.

* The sound "oo" you should pronounce like in the english word - "look", "wood", etc.

* "Ochen' " - in this word you will see the soft sign ' after the letter "n" - that means that the consonant "n" should be pronounced in a very soft way. You may pronounce "nee" ("ee" - like in the word "knee"), and then slow redude the length of the sound "ee" after "n", and you will get a very soft consonant "n" easily.

You may post more sentences for the translation, people will help you out here. Or you may check out - http://www.polyglot-learn-language.com... web-site, where you will be able to find many Russian language speakers and start learning this language by your own.

I wish you everything the best!

Hello! = Privet!
How are you? = Kahk Deylah?
I'm fine = Harosho
What is your name? Kahk Vas Zavut?
My name is ____ = Menya Zavoot _____
Do you speak English? = Po Angliski?
You are very beautiful! = Ve Ochen Kravisy!
You are my reason for living: Ti maya Sudba
Will you marry me? = Ti videsh zamuz za menya?

or if things don't go so well:
"Morda Segli Prosit" which roughly translates to
"Your ugly face deserves a brick"
you'll never be able to get the pronunciation right. the letters and symbols or characters are so foreign and almost impossible for americans,

just remember....
da = yes
nyet = no
How are you- Kak dela?
You are extremely beautiful- Ty extremalno goryachaya!.....medovaya konfetca-honey candy....:-)...
Of COURSE you'll get the pronounciation. It's difficult, yet but if you want to speak the language, then you can. If you're serious about learning the language then check either Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone. If you only want to hit on girls then follow the instructions above.

Good luck and enjoy your trip. Russia is beautiful!
It's just a thought, but all of these answers, more or less, are using informal pronouns and verbs. This isn't really a problem if you know each other pretty well, but if it's just someone new on the street, you might offend someone. I'm also curious to understand the circumstances in which you're saying these things considering it's a bit strange to just come up to someone and say, "Hi! You're pretty!" I would suggest a Russian phrasebook and make sure you use the formal pronoun "胁褘" pronounced "vwi" (Note: there isn't a w in Russian, but this word has some slight w coloring to it.) instead of what people wrote as"褌褘," "ti," "tebye" "tebya" or "ty." It also has several derivatives, but I have those marked in the translations already.

The alphabet is not hard if you're willing to do some work with it. I'm a Russian student and I had it pretty well down (except for the hard/soft consanents thing) within about 4 hours of class. It's pretty easy to tell you the truth because Russian is very phonetic and 95% of the time the letters and words sound just like they're written. In this way, the Russian alphabet is actually easier than our own. And if you're ever there, you'll be able find things easier considering you'll be able to read signs, some of which are cognates to English. (Ex. "褉械褋褌芯褉邪薪" is pronounced "restoran" and not "pectopah.")

No, unless you study Russian for a decent length of time, you're not going to have great pronunciation, your accent will be incredibly thick, but you'll get your idea across. Don't worry about soft letters, it's difficult to understand for a native English speaker because you've never had anything like it. It might cause some issues, but unless you're going to give your Russian the studying it requires or you're a prodigy, you won't understand it fully or do it right. If you want the Russian equivalents to the phrases you asked, I'll give them to you and you can look them or I'll do my best to tell you how to pronounce them.

Hello: 袟写褉邪胁褋褌胁褍泄褌械 (don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks.)
"zdravst-vwi-tse"

Good Morning: 袛芯斜褉械 褍褌褉芯*.
"dobre utro"
(*may be replaced with 写械薪褜 "dyen" or 胁械褔械褉 "vicher" for day and evening)

You're very beautiful: 袙褘 芯褔械薪褜 泻褉邪褋懈胁邪褟.
"vwi ochen krasivaya"

My name is. . . : 袦械薪褟 蟹芯胁褍褌. . .
"menya zovut. . . "

And what is your name?: 袗 泻邪泻 胁邪褋 蟹芯胁褍褌?
"ah kak vas zovut"

Nice to meet you." 袨褔械薪褜 锌褉懈褟褌薪芯.
"ochen priyatno"

Good luck!
Me. . . I study Russian.
