To say hello how are you in russian?

Travel Tips
answer #1 is really good but the pronanciation not quite. Hello is "zd-ra-st-vooj-te". And good night is "spo-koi-noj no-chi". Good morning is "s do-brim oot-rom" Good day " Do-brij den' "
How are you? "Kak de-la?"

Good luck,
Svetlana Source(s): I'm Russian

Other Travel Tips
It depends on the formality of the occasion ...
informal - priviet (pri vee et) Hi
formal - zdrastvuie (zdrast vu ee) Hello (to try the zd sound, slowly say zede until you can quickly blend it to on e syllable)
How are you? Kak dela (kok du la)
Good morning Dobray outro (Do bray oo tro)
Goodbye (formal - dasvedanya (das ve dan ya)
Goodbye (informal - Paca (pa ka)

Hope this helps...and spaquonya noche (Have a quiet night)
Russian co-worker
You may say privet (informal) or zdravstvuyte
If you are talking to a friend hi and salut are also O.K.
if you`re talking to someone aroun your age say privet kak dela( hi how are you) if you`re talking to someone older say zdrastvuyte kak pojivayete(hi how have you been living)
That's how you would say "Hello, how are you?" in Russian.

"Zdrastvuyte, kak dela?"
