Novaya Zemlya and the Fran Josef Islands? |
Travel Info Are either Novaya Zemlya or the Frans Josef islands visitable? Like Svalbard. Do they actually have cities, and hotels, etc. I've been doing some research, and the Frans Josef islands are the only ones that are showing possible evidence of being visistable. So are they? Do they have any tourist sites? Maybe through Russia's touism? Travel Tips You can visit them, but it's quite expensive and you'll stay onboard your tourist ship (converted ice-breaker).
