Thus, there is a certain number of so-called "skin heads" (street hooligans of racist nature) who behave aggressively towards certain foreigners, and unfortunately Chinese people also fall in that category of a certain risk, together with Japanese, other asian and non-European persons. Some Caucasian persons of certain ethnicity are also in a state of a certain risk. The areas of a high concentration of those skin heads are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh and many other cities of central Russia. There are no skin heads in Tatarstan (the capital Kazan), Bashkiria, Tuva, Kalmykia, and many those areas where the majority of people living there are of non-eropean (non-Russian) origin. Those areas are absolutely safe for asian persons. What to do if you meet with skin heads? Try to avoid them, if you cannot, then use an electroshoker - a device which can be legally used in Russia without any license like those sold below, they cost from US $70-$200. Most of skin heads are just teen agers, so never be afraid of them too much, just hit one in case of assault & escape ASAP. Do not call for help, that will not work here, just hit& escape... |
