How does an American get a Russian visitor's visa? |
Travel Info I'm traveling in Europe next summer and I plan on visiting some friends in Russia. I am not staying at a hotel or going through a travel agency. How do I go about getting a Russian visa and how much do they usually cost? Travel Tips Go to russia-visa.com that is where I get mine. I have used them twice. They will issue you a letter of invitation and get your visa for you. There is a small list of requirements that is not hard. Just fill out the application. The total cost is around 180 dollars. That includes 2 day shipping, visa cost and service fees. The process takes about 11 days Others I know the process is alot easier if you are staying at a hotel because the hotel becomes the sponser.. but when you are staying with friends you will have to have them send in a letter as your sponser I believe. Contact Express Visa or the Russian Embassy and they will work you through the process. Do allow extra time as the Russian Visa process can still be a tricky process.... |
