Travel Tips Well I am not Russian but am married to a Russian and he treats me pretty well. I think he still gets a little shocked at my indepentance and the fact that I won't put up with much crap. But he also respects me and all his Russian guy friends just love me. He does have this tendancy to worry about what other guys think and his biggest fear is that guys will think he's whipped. Of course I think most Nationalities suffer that. We have talked about the mistress thing and he says that most Russian men do have Mistresses. I don't know why Russian woman are willing to tolerate that. My husband knows that it will not be tolerated. We also have these friends, a Russian couple, and I don't think she would let him get away with much either and she is Russian. Others don't know not russian Russian men and respect towards women are incompatible. I'm from Russia and that's my STRONG personal opinion. Let me put it this way: if you don't have a mistress when you're married you're incomplete and life is too boring unfortunately, Russian men are not too good to women. adultery is a very common thing. wide-spread alcoholism does not help also. of course, it depends. a lot of urban middle class men are OK. i am a Russian. Russian men are lucking education, manners, ethics. Not only in relation ship with woman but in general. That is why they appeared behaving rude to woman, to their relatives or their friends. And they accept that because they also have no idea how polite interaction must be. It is vicious circle. |
