Travel Info Could you kindly tell me some beautiful tourist sites in Russia? Thanks!? Travel Tips Irkutsk & Lake Baikal are beautiful, especially if the lake is frozen over. There is fun stuff to do there as well like dog sledging and snow mobiling. Moscow is a bit of a let down, there is red square & St Bastil's Palace but not much else. My favorite is definatly St Petersburg. It is all so great but I recommend starting off at the State Heritage Museum and going from there. I used the rough guides when I went traveling. Others definitely go and watch a russian ballet theyre amazing Try going to Siberia and look for Tigers! Really! Ken R. Never mind Moscow a few days in St.Petersburgh is well worth the effort,some amazing buildings and should you go in winter time a walk on the sea in the bay of Leningrad or should that too be St.Petersburgh,we gave up after about five miles,but local people were still drilling holes in the ice to fish.We were told that at its thickest the ice was at least 12mts.
