Travel Info Dear Russian people, Please tell me honestly -- What do you think of Iran? What do you think about Iranians? Travel Tips First of all i don't think many of us see our country as a part of islamic world (only muslims probably). But yes, many of us are against american self-proclaimed leadership in the world. I personally think that death punishment for Saddam made Iranian nuclear programm 100% unpeacefull, even though they say they are happy to see him dead. It's natural for coutry's leaders to protect themselves and their people. I'm sure that Iran and North Korea realize that their only chance is a nuke. But again, they haven't started it, USA did. Others well, i don't believe that Russians think much of Iran and Iranians. they see the country as a part of islamic world. some people in Russia may appreciate anti-americanism of current Iranian leadership, others dislike its extremism and anti-semitism. Well. It is diffucult questions. There were many students from Iran in our universities in 80s-90s.Many our girls got married with Iranians, many our people were working there. Personaly I like them.Nice ,strong, honest people. After death of Saddam Husein I respect them even more. Unfortunately,I believe, Russians don't know much about Iran and Iranians. So there is not mach to think about. Wish we all have more contacts on different levels. best regards Oleg |
