Should I take a chance and take a job in Russia or stay in the US? |
Travel Info I'm 46, not in the greatest of health but would love the chance to travel and espcially to Russia. Travel Tips I agree that if this is an excellent opportunity go for it but I would also recommend doing your homework about where you are going. Like for example housing and other living expenses. The reason is I was just in Russia and if you are considering Moscow a one room flat is 2500 a month. Since you have health problems also make sure you are able to get health care there and if your insurance will pay for it. Good Luck. Russia is beautiful and I enjoyed it very much.. Source(s): Moscow Times Other Travel Tips KGB man Putin is turning Russia back into a police state. It would be an incredible adventure. Unless you have major things holding you back (like family obligations), you should definitely go for it. You can always go back to the U.S. if it doesn't work out. Go for it. I have a friend of the same age, and he flies in and out with the company he works for. He said sometimes he can't work due to being snowed in. But he enjoys it. I have been to Russia and nearly froze my tail off. This is your chance to travel to a different part of the world! Take the chance even if the job does not last forever, even if you need to come back in say, 6 months or a year due to health, at least you WENT and you had the experience. I wouldn't hesitate, even if I knew it was only temporary. |
