Travel Tips
just probably couple week ago we had a tv program about it! hows life there... (i live in russia)

Well the corespondent went through some territories and the radiation level was still very very very very high! Some people still live there, also he showed some families who moved from there to better places but then got back again - i didn't understand the reasons, they've told that most of people who was there when it happened and moved to better places have died, but they still alive cause their bodies got use to it already. I'm not joking, cause that's what i've really heard on tv.

I don't think life is very good at that area, most of the people still live there cause simply just don't have a money and possibility to move somewhere else. So your charity is a great thing! Glad that we have such a kind, nice people!!!

good luck

Yes.I went there.A man with 2 heads showed me around. The bearded lady said I can go back next year if I want. The siamese twins waved me off into the distance with a tear in their eye."Hasten your return" they said.
I haven't been there, but My family took part in the programme your talking about, and we had two lads stay with us. Keep up the good work,
I'm afraid I do not have an answer to your question but I would just like to say firstly how wonderful it think your are for the work that you are doing and secondly how insulting and entirely inappropriate THE MAN WHO WALKS ALONEs post is. The author should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!
No I have not been there but my family participate in the programme.
It is very sad that when the children arrive they bring very little with them other than the clothes on their backs and a carrier bag of belongings. It is then that you realise how poor the families in the area must be.
It is easy to ignore charity from afar but when these kids are here people are so very kind. The children return home with suitcases of gifts.
P.S MAN WHO WALKS ALONE.... HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME. There are plenty of posts requiring humorous replies. This is clearly not one of them!
I've got friends that used to live there before. They feel good now, they're healthy enough.
