Travel Info I live in Russia long time. What do you think about this country? Travel Tips I love Russia it great and our long term partner to i am from India. Others I miss it! I like Russia, it is cold. I think it's too cold, and so big, and most of the people in there are really really white .... great country with good people Russia is a beautiful country and interesting people and talented people live there. However, I do not like or agree with the racial and ethnic prejudice you see there, everywhere. No "historical excuses" are acceptable. There is plenty of racial and ethnic prejudice in Russia and among Russian immigrants to other countries. Try feeding your fairy tales to someone else. I forgot to mention something important here. My brother in law still lives in a remote village in the Ural Mountain/Volga River area of Russia. He manages a kolchoz, and they are forced to sell the milk they produce to a regional government co-op for a fixed price less than the price of water. This is simply institutionalized slavery. If any democracy exists in Russia, it is only for the rich, for the city people, for the criminals. My husband is a former Russian citizen, an ethnic minority and I've been to Russia 5 times. |
