Having to operate in illegal areas of the economy puts them at greater risk than Russians. There is no official policy of persecution and the average Russian doesn't care much if someone is Armenian or Welsh. If you compare the number of killed Russians to the number of killed people of other nationalities you'll see that armenians are really not numerous. I suspect that by armenians you mean different nations like armenians, azerbaidjans, georgians and so on. They come to Russia as cheap workers or to trade, there are a lot of them in kasino business and a huge amount of them sell drugs here or try to bring them into Russia. Most of the murdurs happen when they kill each other - their business always suggests danger. When a westerner asks a question like that we can see that you think Russians are monsters killing poor asians. Guys, wake up!
