In Russia a working mom is typical, women have to do really a lot to support the family - sometimes they get more money than their men. They don't want to be mules and try to find a husband who can support them. Besides, if a woman gets divorced here in Russia she gets next to no money from her ex-husband to help bring up kids, and a lot of men don't give even this little. Then, I hope I'm not offending anyone, many guys here in Russia are not what a girl might dream about. They drink, don't care about their looks, are rude etc. But, in spite of all this, not many Russian girls marry foreigners - though many would like to. Usually they're girls who know other languages, they think that a marriage like this is the best way to apply their language skills. I've been asked a lot of times why I'm still here 'cos I know English well enough to live abroad. :))) Others now in Russia its not usual......in brother Ukrania is usualy.......Only money...only salary.......only this,but they have bad life there,so its past of womens history of period of 1990-th......only poor womens without normal life....i meen husband alconaouts....so they was had such husband too in their new "motherland".....such dills was in our country.....If men love one lady so and meet her in her country or his,its a real love,but its like hungry reflecs,when people of WW2 when eat,they everything will eat and nothing after them would not stay.....such situation with soviet womens,when people was had hungry in 1980-th,with money,but without food,without visit of west countres,where a live was better....so its past,becouse Russia now live like others country of Europe,with normal salary for them and with freedom of visiting...so food is everywhere and such marriage are going to past.....may be in poor countres such situation is onlu going for long live...like in Moldova(past part of Romenia with past part of Ukrania)where are local war for independit of ukranian land wich was connected to romenian Moldova by Stalin...so such things(wars,hungry death do womens,like a hunter for west husbends with money)........ To have better life. Its so hard for Russian girls to earn good money in Russia. Marriage with a foreigner means escaping from the poor life for them. My best friend married with a lovely Russian girl. they think they will have a better life. Plus Russian men are very difficult to deal with.
