2 weeks for a letter or a card, longer for a package (could actually tale up to a month- a month and a half) - I know it by my personal experience (do not send money in the package - mine got stolen- the best way to this is to send in enclosed in a card)

Yep about 2 weeks. And don't mail anything really valuable or it might get confiscated! ;-)
probably about a week or two thats how long it usually takes for mine to come from england to the US
