What is the average weather like around Omsk in May? I will be traveling over there late in May and want to know what type of clothes to pack. Thanks so much!!!

GO TO SOUTH!!! Travel from Rostov-on-Don to Sochi(krasnodar region)...here in may always at bigining is 30C at the end it can be +37 to +40C.......if you want to see next winter olympic games capitol of 2014 year go to subtropical nice Sochi city.....if you want to visit south sttepes go Rostov and Krasnodar region...our Coucusian mounatains is the best!!!!!you can see snow at high place of montain city Krasnoya Polyana and to bath in sea with 27C-34C of air and 23C at sea

i dont know about omsk,but in st-petersburg normally good warm weather in May,but some day can surprise!because weather here not stabil!have jacket ,middleseasons shoes,and light shoes too(because may be very warm!who knows?)jeans,skirt(if u will walk at night jacket necessary))u can wear this under jacket(but i hope u will lucky))btw have summer clothes too because it maybe hot too!i can give advice have clothes as 4 summer and 4 spring too...

i think it is colder than in Western Russia, it is situated in Siberia.
