Near Davis? Get on Interstate 80 West and you'll hit Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo. There are some good coasters there. It's about a 1 drive depending on traffic. Regionally, the best place for roller coasters is Magic Mountain down towards L.A. About a 6-7 hour drive but worth every penny. State of the art roller coasters that are never ending. I think there are like 12 or 13 now. Everytime I make the trip to L.A. I usually stop at MM just to re-experience the rides again.

Either Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo, or the State Fair in Sacramento. I think it's this weekend, but I'm not sure.
