Travel Tips Sacramento or one of the cities closer to the Sierra Nevada Mountains (just above Sacramento) like Rocklin. Sacramento is a nice city because of it's vast choices of schools and arts exhibits, without being too big of a city such as Los Angeles and San Francisco. Everywhere you go in Sac, you still feel like you're in the suburbs. Plus, traveling to the beach or the other direction to Lake Tahoe are only 2 hours either direction. Others Don't do it! I don't know where you are coming from, but Cali is extremely over priced. We moved out of there as soon as we were married. Stuff in the 200,000 is very run down. We came from like the worst county in the state and we still didn't have anything decent to choose from The one closest to another state! lodi! it is a cute little town that is not expensive. it is very central to all the good stuff in california (bay area, sacramento, yosemite, tahoe). it has a good school district. and the playboy bunny who lives with hugh heffner grew up there and visits frequently with mtv and such. in daly city it is between sanfo and san mateo county and have a good climate and it is not a ghetto Sacramento nice beaches |
