Travel Info What city is better , Redding CA , or Chico CA? Travel Tips I like Chico. Bidwell park is amazing, the community is welcoming, the University is good. You can eat well there. Weather is TOO hot for me, but the same is true for Redding. Others Well, what are you looking for? A night to party or a place to live? If you are looking at a weekend get away, or somewhere to move, I would suggest Redding. It's very close to Shasta Lake which is beautiful and it's a fairly clean city. Chico is a college party town, so if you're looking to party, that's the place I think that Chico is better then Redding because their is more things to do around there, especially if your a partier during school session. Redding is to dam hot anyways. I live near Chico and have visited Redding Chico is better. Redding is a shithole. Chico is definately better, but i am partial because i grew up on the ridge....There is so much to do in chico! Not to mention, Chico Sate was the best Party College for 10+ years. If you get bored in Chico, it is only a short drive to Lake Oroville or the Feather River Canyon. |
